Flynn’s Son Says David Hogg’s Parents Didn’t ‘Smack’ Him Enough After He Rejected Ingraham’s Apology

Former National Security Adviser General Michael Flynn’s son, Michael Flynn Jr., wrote on Twitter that Parkland, Florida student David Hogg’s parents didn’t properly discipline him.

In response to Hogg’s rejection of Fox News host Laura Ingraham’s apology, Flynn Jr. tweeted that his parents “clearly didn’t smack this kid much growing up.”

He added that Hogg’s “emotional high” will run its course and advised him to “savor it while it lasts.”

His comment faced backlash and Flynn Jr. subsequently tweeted that people who think “smacking your kid” when they’re out of line is “troublesome” are part of the problem.

He wrote that those people are “one of the main reasons” students in the United States are ranked 22 in the world in education.

“Called LACK OF DISCIPLINE,” he concluded.

After Ingraham tweeted an article about Hogg’s rejection from several colleges, he called for a boycott of her advertisers and many companies pulled ads.

Ingraham later apologized and invited Hogg to return to her show for a “productive discussion,” but he rejected the apology on the basis that it wasn’t genuine, but only for her advertisers.
