David Hogg Takes His Boycott Too Far: Posts Contact Info of Advertisers’ Executives

Laura Ingraham ignited a fire when she tweeted a story of Parkland student and gun control activist David Hogg being rejected from four different colleges.

Over 50,000 people have replied to her tweet, including Hogg himself, who called out her top advertisers. Hogg listed them and asked his followers to boycott. The stunt worked as many of them pulled out of their partnerships including Nutrish, Wayfair, and TripAdvisor.

Ingraham apologized, but instead of accepting and moving on, Hogg gave her an ultimatum. “I will only accept your apology only if you denounce the way your network has treated my friends and I in this fight,” he said.

Hogg didn’t stop there, however. Hogg pressured Arby’s by exposing their executive’s names and also contact info. He has since deleted the tweets, but Business Insider was able to get a screenshot:

Despite the tweet being deleted, their information was out and other large Twitter accounts spread it.
