Ben Shapiro Fed-Up with David Hogg’s Increasing Demands, Challenges Him To One Of His Own

David Hogg is learning that two can play at his game.

Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro called out the student gun control activist for pressuring advertisers into dropping conservative Laura Ingraham over a dig at his self-admitted college acceptance difficulties. On Twitter, Shapiro challenged Hogg to apologize to public figures whom he has maligned.

“I look forward to Hogg’s apologies to Republicans (“sick f***ers”), Dana Loesch (she was “hypocritical and disgusting” for criticizing Broward Sheriff Scott Israel), and Marco Rubio (he said Rubio was bribed by the NRA to give away children’s lives),” Shapiro wrote.

The remark came after Hogg launched a campaign to boycott advertisers of Fox News’ “Ingraham Angle” after the conservative host tweeted that the teenager was “whining” about being rejected by college in a TMZ article.

Ingraham ultimately issued an apology for her tweet, but Hogg refused to accept it and continued calling for boycotts.

Shapiro added that the “viciousness” of Hogg’s personal attacks has been greater than what Ingraham wrote, and offered his own experience being involved in political debates as a teenager.

He also blasted Hogg’s call for facts over emotional rhetoric, citing the student’s own “propagandistic” remarks.

On Monday, CNN’s Alisyn Camerota asked Hogg if his regular verbal assaults on Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) are not “misdirected.”

“Do you think that’s unnecessarily provocative?” she pressed.

“No … I don’t think it’s even provocative enough,” Hogg replied.

In a tweet pinned to his profile, the gun control activist calls on Americans to work together, not “attack each other.”

He’d do well to follow his own advice.
