Date For Trump’s Military Parade Leaks, But Veterans Couldn’t Be More Pleased

President Trump supports our military with a vigor that hasn’t been seen in decades. And after eight years of the least supportive president anyone could have possibly imagined, it is a welcome reprieve for them.

All branches of the U.S. military finally feel that the commander-in-chief has their backs. And it makes a world of difference to know that when they’re out on deployment and especially in battle.

Veterans also feel the support they’ve been lacking.z They see all the changes being made in the VA and it brings them hope and makes them feel appreciated for their service. And what the president just announced will give them even more reason to feel appreciated.

From Politico:

President Donald Trump’s plans for a White House-backed military parade are beginning to take shape.

The president has directed the Department of Defense to organize a parade that would take place on Nov. 11 – Veterans Day – according to an unclassified Feb. 20 memo written by National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster.

The memo, which was summarized to POLITICO by a senior administration official, was sent from McMaster to Secretary of Defense James Mattis. It says that Trump wants Mattis to brief him on “concepts of operation for this event.”

The memo also said that the parade route should begin at the White House and end at the Capitol.

Trump could’ve chosen any of the 364 other days of the year on which to hold his military parade, but he picked Veterans Day. Wow. There couldn’t have been a better choice to show where his loyalty lies.

Now, whether or not the president himself will take part in the parade remains to be decided. But my guess is that he will take part in it. He’ll want to show how proud he is of the brave men and women who make up our military.

A national military parade hasn’t been held in the U.S. in decades. And liberals have claimed that holding one puts Trump in the same class of leader as the likes of Kim Jong-un.

But if it’s true that only evil dictators hold massive military parades to showcase their might, then France didn’t get the memo. The president got the idea of holding a military parade when he visited France last year and experienced their extravagant Bastille Day military celebration. So much for that theory, libs.

But Trump wassn’t bothered in the least by their accusations. Instead of backing down from his plans, he says wants to go even bigger than France.

“We’re going to have to try to top it.”

And by the way Trump has already lived up to his promises to America, we don’t doubt that he will.
