Donald and Melania Trump seen holding hands heading to Easter church service

We’ve heard plenty of rumors from the media about the supposedly dismal marriage between President Donald Trump and his wife Melania. But the talking heads can speculate and slander all they want: at the end of the day, Trump and Melania are still family — and they haven’t hesitated to act as such.

The couple attended Easter services together in Palm Beach, Florida on Sunday. They were seen holding hands as they entered the Episcopal church where they were married in 2005.

Donald and Melania Trump are tied together by a sacred bond. It’s nobody’s place to call for Melania to leave her husband.

President Trump and Melania attend Easter mass together

The presidential couple attended an Easter service at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal church on Sunday. The church is located in Palm Beach, Florida, near the president’s Mar-A-Lago resort.

Photos show the couple holding hands as they entered the church. They were joined by Tiffany Trump.

“President Trump wore a bright red tie and was holding Melania Trump’s hand as they headed to church entrance after exiting motorcade,” wrote Ledyard King, a USA Today reporter who was the White House “pool” source for the day. “FLOTUS wore a sleeveless, calf-length, pinkish-red print dress. This was their first public appearance since the 60 Minutes interview with adult film actress Stormy Daniels who has alleged an affair with Trump (that he has denied) more than a decade ago.”

The first couple reportedly sat in the third row of the church. They left after services ended at 12:30 p.m., and retired to Mar-A-Lago for Easter dinner Sunday afternoon before flying back to Washington that evening.

The two were married at the church in 2005, and they attended Easter services there in 2017, as well.

Marriage under siege

Donald and Melania Trump’s relationship came under scrutiny recently after The Wall Street Journal reported that adult film actor Stormy Daniels signed a hush agreement with one of Trump’s lawyers to not go public with an alleged affair that happened over a decade ago. The controversy resulting from that story has dominated the news cycle in recent weeks.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, claims that she had a single sexual encounter with Donald Trump a short while after he married Melania. The controversy has led to calls for Melania to leave her husband, but polling on the issue shows that more Americans think the first lady should stay than think she should leave.

But it’s not anyone’s business to comment on the sacred bond between Donald and Melania Trump. Their marriage is their business — and the mainstream media should start respecting that, instead of spreading fabricated rumors.

Much to the media’s dismay, their appearance on Sunday was very telling: the first couple is doing just fine.
